- First of all, have you highlighted your best achievements in the first half of the first page?
- have you read the job description and tried to use some of its keywords within your resume?

- Make sure to add the years of experience beside each employers name.
- Don't repeat the strong keywords at your achievements section. (i.e. Experienced doing...,performed..., Succeeded in... etc.)

- Your career objective has to reflect your resume details.
- The professional resume shall not be more than 2 pages.
- Add all the related specialized training that you have taken.
- You may have subscribed with trade exhibitions presenting your previous employers products and services, its good to add them to your resume.
- Always remeber that the employers/recruiters have very short time to consider or disregard your resume, its all about what you write on the first half of the first page.
- When you get a call for interview, its always good to have a power point version of your resume at your laptop or somewhere on the internet to be presented during the interview (if the employer will be interested to have more details) as with this resume you may add reference photos, videos and other helpfull details
- Finally, be passionate & accurate with your resume writing and get ready for your first interview!

- LinkedIn.com:
Create your account indicating your educational background, practical experience, trainings and search for people whom worked with you, link with them and they might ask for recommendations and search for jobs
With Working Canada government website you will have access to potential employers, Labour Market Information, Wages & Salaries, Where to Get Training and much more
- Calling the employers:
You may prepare a calling script (30sec - 1min) and start calling your potential employers, you may find employers addresses at the public library through Scotts directory, don't give up with the first couple calls when they go wrong, just try and try
- Don't Copy & paste the covering letter to the e-mail body, simple e-mail body will be enough
- Create excell sheet with all your daily submitted applications
- Avoid sending your application by Fax unless you call after and make sure they received it
- Instead of addressing your covering letter to Mr. or Ms you may use "Hiring Manager"
